About Biocomposition Assessment
A Body Composition Assessment gives you more information than a traditional scale. At Club Five Health, we evaluate key aspects of your body composition to help you understand where you are starting and track meaningful changes over time. Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, performance, or longevity, objective data can help guide your program.
Body composition looks at how your body is made up, including body fat, lean muscle mass, body weight, body fat distribution, muscle distribution, and changes over time. Instead of focusing only on the number on the scale, we can look at what is changing inside your body.
Body weight alone does not tell the whole story. You could lose weight while also losing muscle, or maintain the same weight while gaining muscle and reducing body fat. Tracking body composition helps us better understand your progress and make informed adjustments to your program. Results can be used as a baseline and reassessed periodically.
Track changes in body fat and lean mass rather than relying only on the scale.
Monitor increases in lean mass and help ensure your training and nutrition are supporting your goals.
Understanding your body composition can help inform strength, conditioning, and performance strategies.
Maintaining healthy levels of muscle and body composition is part of staying strong and physically capable as you age.
Body composition testing is useful when you want more than the scale: fat loss, muscle gain, athletic performance, weight management, or healthy aging. Athletes can use the data to help guide training, nutrition, and performance goals. After the assessment, results can be reviewed with our team and used to help create or adjust a personalized fitness, nutrition, weight-management, or performance program.
